We are honored to announce that Watergrasshill Bed & Breakfast in New Paltz, NY has been voted the Best Bed & Breakfast in the Hudson Valley by Hudson Valley Magazine! So what makes us so special? We are taking this opportunity to share what makes us our Bed & Breakfast truly the Best in the Hudson Valley.



The Rooms


Each of our four guest rooms was created to make you feel at home. With original wide plank wood floors, plush mattresses, spa linens, custom design pieces, modern ensuite bathrooms and central air conditioner, we designed our guest rooms with comfort and care in mind.


The House

We like to call your getaway a 'relaxacation.' From our hammock and front porch rocking chairs, to our sunset porch or contemporary living room, there are many places throughout the property to relax with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.


The Breakfast

All of the baked goods at Watergrasshill Bed & Breakfast are homemade and most ingredients are locally sourced. We serve a delicious and nutritious breakfast every morning for you to enjoy. Hot weekend breakfast will change with the seasons to provide you with the freshest ingredients. Spiced orange French toast, summer garden frittata, tart cherry scones, avocado toast, we promise you won't be disappointed.


The Location

Watergrasshill Bed & Breakfast is located in New Paltz, NY, just 80 miles north of New York City. New Paltz is the center of outdoor recreation beyond your imagination. We are only a few miles from great hiking, biking and climbing trails. Looking for a different style of getaway? Head to downtown New Paltz for local bites, boutique shopping or jump on the Shawangunk wine trail to sample some of New York's great wines!


The Service

Owner and innkeeper, Alana, is here to make your experience memorable. Serving up fresh baked goods and working around the house, she is here to ensure you have a wonderful stay at Watergrasshill B&B. From where to dine and where to climb, she is happy to share her local expertise.
