After realizing that corporate life in Manhattan was no longer bringing her happiness, Alana drew up a business plan to open a Bed & Breakfast in her hometown in the Hudson Valley. Several renovations and a complete interior design makeover later, Watergrasshill became Alana's new passion in the summer of 2018. Alana now resides on the property with her husband, Austin, and happily welcomes guests into her home daily. She is here to share her lifetime of knowledge about the area with you. BREAKFAST & BEYOND
At Watergrasshill B&B, every morning we prepare a locally sourced, seasonal breakfast for you to enjoy. In the afternoon, light refreshments are available for your indulgence.
Located just 80 miles north of New York City, we are accessible via the train, bus and highway. Our B&B is located in New Paltz, NY which is nestled between the Shawangunk Mountains and Hudson River-making us the ideal location for exploring all that the Hudson Valley has to offer.
Rates: All room rates are for double occupancy. Room rates are subject to a 2% Ulster County bed tax rate and 8% NYS sales tax
Minimums: We have a 2 night minimum stay on weekends only. Call to reserve a 1 night stay mid-week.
Extra Guests: Some rooms can sleep an additional guest on a twin sleeper sofa at an extra cost of $35 per night. Please inquire for more information.
Children: We have created an adult-oriented B&B for those who are looking to enjoy a quiet and relaxing retreat. For that reason we only accommodate children over the age of 12.
Pets: Out of respect for our other guest's allergies we are unable to accommodate pets.
If your travel plans change and you need to cancel your reservation, please call or email us 14 days before your stay and we would be happy to refund your payment less a $25 service charge per room night.
Within 2 weeks and up to 48 hours before your arrival, we will refund your payment provided that we are able to re-rent the room. A $25 service charge per room night will apply.
A cancellation within 48 hours of your arrival date or a no-show will be unable to receive any refund.
