SOLD OUT Cooking with Wine

Often used to enhance sauces, wine is an essential ingredient in every chef's kitchen. From red wine glaze to burre blanc, there's always an opportunity to use up leftover wine. At this hands-on cooking class you will learn how to use wine as an ingredient that will blend the flavors of your dishes beautifully. Chef Jennie will teach you the tips and tricks you will need to recreate these unique dishes at home! 

Chefs of all levels are welcome in our Watergrasshill Kitchen Studio. Our classes are designed for people with a passion for food and a desire to learn. That being said, we believe that a cooking class is just as much about learning as it is about enjoying your time doing so. You'll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors. Each student will enjoy the food prepared in class and will take home their packet of recipes!  

Menu: (Fully Gluten Free)

-Roasted Beets with Toasted Pecan, Micro Green, Whipped Goat Cheese and Red Wine Glaze

-Seared Scallops with Burre Blanc and Pine Nuts

-Chardonnay and Pecorino Pea Risotto

-Fresh Berries with Meringue and Prosecco Sabayon

*This class is BYOB and guests over the age of 21 are invited to bring their drink of choice to enjoy during the class. 

Chef Jennie is a locally based Hudson Valley Chef that focuses on both the health benefits and mouthwatering reasons for getting back to real food! She grew up in a household with mainly processed food, so her schooling at both Le Cordon Bleu and The Institute for Integrative Nutrition really fueled her passion for real ingredient cooking. With so many delicious options in our area to eat farm-fresh, she loves taking advantage of what the current season has to offer. She takes immense amounts of pride in her attention to detail and genuinely loves expanding what she does for a living as a craft.
