Kids Holiday Cookie Decorating! (Ages 8+)

Drop your kids off for a festive evening creating fun holiday cookies! Chef Melissa Walnock from the CIA Apple Pie Bakery Café will teach baking, rolling and cutting techniques as well as decorating methods. She will demonstrate how to make each of the following cookies and then each kid will make their own to bring home! 

- Assortment of sugar cookies- decorated with royal icing and sprinkles

- Gingerbread men

-Stained glass cookie ornaments

All children ages 8+ are welcome to join in on the fun! 

Melissa Walnock is A Certified Hospitality Educator of baking and pastry arts at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA). Chef Walnock serves as pastry chef and instructor in the college’s Apple Pie Bakery Café. Before joining the CIA faculty, Chef Walnock worked at some of the finest restaurants in the United States including The French Laundry in Yountville, CA, Jean-Georges V Steakhouse, Union Square Café in New York City and The Breakers in Palm Beach, FL.
