Focaccia Masterpieces

 Join the Ashely, the mastermind behind @focacciaflourist at our Focaccia class! She will walk you through how to create your own focaccia masterpiece. You will begin the class learning about the process of making sourdough from scratch, including feeding your starter, making the dough, folding and rising. While your prepped dough is set to the side, Ashley will demonstrate various decorating techniques with herbs and vegetables and discuss different flavor profiles. Once decorated, your focaccia will be baked and sent home with you to enjoy! You will not only go home with your focaccia bread and recipe, but also a sourdough starter to continue your bread making journey! 

About Ashely:

My journey baking began with a desire to make things from scratch, to take every ingredient from its most basic form and make it into something delicious and pure, all while expressing my artistic side. The goods bought at the store just weren’t cutting it anymore, and when I look at what’s put into them I knew I wanted to make them better and all myself. Simply put, I want to be able to be self sufficient and teach my sons the same. So this is a step in that direction.

I’m a self taught baker, with a background in graphic design. The culmination of these 2 passions got me here. Being a stay at home mother, I want to be the best example for my sons. Inching myself closer each day to my desired self sufficient homestead.
