About The Event
Join us in the Watergrasshill kitchen studio for an evening cooking up a delicious menu featuring summertime flavors. There are few things sweeter than fresh produce from the garden. Chef Melissa Walnock, from the Culinary Institute of America, will lead the live, hands-on class through a 4 course summer menu, focused around seasonal produce. Each item will be enjoyed during the class and students will bring home their packet of recipes to recreate at home.
Our classes are designed for people with a passion for food and a desire to learn. That being said, we believe that a cooking class is just as much about learning as it is about enjoying your time doing so. You'll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors. By the end of the evening our goal is for you to be feeling blissful, content and ready to recreate these delicious recipes at home with your newly acquired cooking skills.

Melissa Walnock is A Certified Hospitality Educator of baking and pastry arts at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA). Chef Walnock serves as pastry chef and instructor in the college’s Apple Pie Bakery Café. Before joining the CIA faculty, Chef Walnock worked at some of the finest restaurants in the United States including The French Laundry in Yountville, CA, Jean-Georges V Steakhouse, Union Square Café in New York City and The Breakers in Palm Beach, FL.
