About The Event

Join us in the Watergrasshill kitchen studio for a fun night tasting dumplings of the world. Chef Melissa Walnock, from the CIA Apple Pie Bakery Cafe, will lead you through a partial demonstration style and partial hands-on class. You will take a trip around the culinary world sampling dumplings from 3 different countries including Poland, Japan and Italy. Chef Melissa will demonstrate each unique folding, filling and cooking technique and you will taste the distinctive flavor profiles of each.

Our classes are designed for people with a passion for food and a desire to learn. That being said, we believe that a cooking class is just as much about learning as it is about enjoying your time doing so. You'll work together with other students in a fun environment led by our professional chef instructors. By the end of the evening our goal is for you to be feeling blissful, content and ready to impress your friends and family with your newly acquired cooking skills.

Menu:

Potato & Cheese Pierogi

Pork Gyoza

Butternut Squash Ravioli

*Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Melissa Walnock is A Certified Hospitality Educator of baking and pastry arts at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA).
