About The Event
Experience the joy of cooking from scratch with Chef Jennie Gaffney. This class is designed for enthusiasts of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned cooks, looking to expand their breakfast repertoire. Not only will you learn to prepare these exquisite dishes, but you'll also gain invaluable culinary skills and techniques that you can take home to your own kitchen. Our intimate class setting ensures personalized attention for each participant, making for an enjoyable and interactive learning environment.
Our carefully curated menu for the evening promises a blend of classic flavors and innovative twists, ensuring there's something to delight every palate. You'll have the chance to dive hands-on into the creation of the following dishes:
- Crepes with Espresso Whipped Mascarpone and Red Fruit: Learn the art of making feather-light crepes, paired with a richly flavored espresso whipped mascarpone, and topped with a medley of fresh red fruits for a burst of freshness and color.
- Eggs Florentine on Avocado Toast: Master the technique of poaching eggs to perfection, served atop creamy avocado toast, and finished with a homemade hollandaise sauce that's sure to impress.
- Lemon Poppyseed Blueberry Muffins: Discover the secrets to moist, fluffy muffins dotted with juicy blueberries, a tangy lemon zest, and the subtle crunch of poppy seeds – the perfect sweet treat to start your day.

Chef Jennie is a locally based Hudson Valley Chef that focuses on both the health benefits and mouthwatering reasons for getting back to real food! She grew up in a household with mainly processed food, so her schooling at both Le Cordon Bleu and The Institute for Integrative Nutrition really fueled her passion for real ingredient cooking. With so many delicious options in our area to eat farm-fresh, she loves taking advantage of what the current season has to offer. She takes immense amounts of pride in her attention to detail and genuinely loves expanding what she does for a living as a craft.
